Trust undertook following activities during FY 2024-25
1- Medical camps
a) A special medical camp was held on the occasion of “Shri Satya Sai Aradhana diwas” at officers colony Chandramani Dehradun. 116 persons registered for the camp. All persons were checked by doctors, necessary blood tests were carried out and all persons were given prescribed medicines.
b) An special medical camp was organised on the occasion of Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s Birthday at Officers Enclave Chandramani on 23rd November 2023. 82 patients took advantage of the camp. All were examined, wherever necessary tests were carried out and free medicines distributed.
c) Ten regular monthly medical camps were held in 2024-25 . More than 515 patients registered for these camps. All were examined, treated and given free medication in these camps.
2 – Amrut Kalash (monthly ration kits). 256 Amrut Kalash were distributed to about 26 families during 2024-25.
3- Home for PWDs/Elderly
- Sagar Singh Negi autistic person was admitted in Sri Sathya Sai Premasraya on 5/2/25 at the recommendation of village head/ Gram Pradhan
- Neeraj Bhatt an Autistic person from Dist Pithora garh was admitted in Sri Sathya Sai Premasrya on 6/2/25.
- A local social activist and ex CWC member Pauri District referred a case of 7 year old girl Avni, belonging to a poor family from vill Bukhandi, Pauri Garhwal. Girl was taken to Mahant Indresh Hospital who recommended Cochlear Implant to be done. However as Avni was more than 5 years of age, an amount of Rs 6,50,000/ had to be paid for the Implant. Considering Avni’s IQ level it was decided to get the Cochlear Implant done. Avni’s Implant was successfully accomplished with help from some well wishers.
Miscellaneous service activities;
a) Smt Aarti Sharma, who lost her husband, was taking care of her three children by herself alone. She was selected for Amrit Kalash. Later when encouraged she showed interest in doing something to support her family independently. Her home premises were surveyed and with her consent it was decided to start a grocery outlet at her home in Sherpur Shimla bypass road. She was helped financially on the occasion of Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s birthday function on 23rd November 2024. She is running a grocery shop successfully and is happily supporting her family.
b) Another lady having three school going children and receiving Amrit Kalash ration kit too was encouraged for some suitable self- employment. As she is expert in cooking, she opted to start a tea & food trolley. She was helped by purchasing a second-hand trolley of her choice and giving her, required utensils etc. She has been running this business successfully.
